Fall Rewind: Fab Food Soup, Tea, & Treats

During Fall season, having warm and hearty items added to the rotation is a must! Here are a few I added in either for the first time or maybe with a new twist. Love the veggie soups to use as a base with my lentil or farro topped with some oyster crackers for a quick but filling lunch but be careful about the sodium counts I normally cut each can into 2 servings. The Trader Joe’s Veggie Pad Thai was a quick side meal that I cut into 2 portions to go along with either my lentil/farro bowl meal or as a great pairing with my fish burgers and just add an additional veggie (see summer post). I added in Matcha Latte’s into my rotation with these quick Trader Joe’s single serve packets then added either Planet Oat or Silk Oat Milk Creamer in Vanilla about 4-5 ounces warmed then used a quick hand blender/frother to do a final mix taste is great and no added sugar needed with the creamers. For teas, I have been loving Brooklyn Tea & Hella Tea already, these are 2 new flavors I added to the rotation in Afro Punk caffeine-free & Blue Jeans/White Teas is a white tea with blueberry & some caffeine. For a great after dinner treat, dairy-free chocolate option, Lindt now had oat based dark chocolate pieces which are so good with no after taste!
