Transformation Tuesday: Summer Fragrances Part 1

Summer is in full swing and just smelling fly and fresh may be a challenge with these hot temperatures! Here are some of my fave, tropical beach worthy ones even if you are nowhere near an island. I really enjoy a great coconut base much like a vanilla one, it is subtle like the Nest Balinese coconut ( they have a previous oil based roller ball as well), the Miu Fleur de Lait mixes a coconut base with hints of mango & osmanthus flower while Jean Paul Gautier men’s Le Beau Paradise Garden (shout to Mrr Little for this recommendation on a post from a few years back) mixes in sandalwood & green fig for an earthy , sweet and spicy blend, a truly perfect unisex summer scent. Clean Reserve’s Carmel is a sweet & spicy bridge with coconut, mango, caramel paired with a white musk twist, you are the desert wearing this scent!

If a throwback sunscreen scent is more of what you are seeking than this Jo Malone Beach Blossom combines the coconut, vanilla with lime & tonka bean while Tom Ford’s Soleil Blanc combines ylang ylang, bergamot with coco de mer & cardamon for a spicy twist.
